I am Dede. My family pronounces it deh-deh. It’s good to meet you. Of all the places we could be, here we are, together. As you’ve seen, or are about to, my work lives across packaging, brand identity, and visual communication.
Every project begins the same way. Find the narrative. An entity, an object, a system is only as strong as the story it tells, and even more so, by the emotion that story stirs within us all.
That belief comes from one of the biggest forces in my life. I am co-owner of BLLCRW. I lead visual identity, garment design, manufacturer relations, and brand storytelling. Building a creative label has allowed me turn sketches into shared moments for my team and I, and give life to something that will outlast my own. I create because there will always be a story worth telling, emotion worth uncovering, and ideas worth sharing.
Life is complicated but my existence is simple: make work that resonates, inspires, and communicates with intent.
